I'm a Gameplay Programmer currently working at Future Games of London a Ubisoft Studio on their TIGA award winning game, Hungry Shark World. During my time at FGOL I have worked on a variety of features, ranging from playable characters to exciting new gamemodes and even optimization. One of my greatest achievements during my time at FGOL so far, has been optimizing the loading times by 80%, which was really appreciated by players and coworkers alike and produced a significant bump in retention!
Currently, my favorite genre of games is FPS's, as they require fast reflexes and often get very intense with multiplayer battles. I do enjoy other genres such as racing, strategy, RTS and simulation. One of my favorite games of
all time is Aragami, a small indie game developed by Lince Works.
Throughout my life I have lived in various countries, stretching from the United Kingdom to Taiwan. I've attended five different schools during my education, with four of those being English speaking. When I lived in Switzerland
I attended the local school in my town, in which I learned German as a part of my education.
After living in Switzerland my family & I moved to Thailand where I attended an international school. Here, I was heavily influenced with Minecraft and at the age of 15, I started coding my own little mods for the game. In
10th grade, I also took a mobile apps development course which did not contain much coding and used a visual programming style similar to Scratch. During 11th and 12th grade, I took the International Baccalaureate, which is
where I first started learning how to code at a higher standard. This is where I decided that I wanted to do a programming related degree at university.
